I freakin LOVE this series! I can't stop crying. I keep picturing this as a true story and it tears me up. It's really hard to take what happened to Cam but in the back of my mind I'm thinking he's gonna come back. I like Jacob but I feel like he's intruding on Shay's mourning period. If she wants to secluded herself in her house for four months by God she shouldn't have to be made to feel there's something wrong with that. I mean I know it's not healthy but, come on. They were deeply in love since high school. The were each other's soul mates. Jacob seems like a really nice guy but HE'S NOT CAM! I highly recommend this book to everyone but if you read book 1 then be prepared to continue the cry fest. Lol. I have got to get on to book three.Product details

Volume Two picks up 120 days later where Volume One ended. Shay, heartbroken, inconsolable, in a self imposed exile from the world outside her home, unable to speak to anyone except her mother, who she tells, do not come to my house. She doesn't want anyone's condolences, she just wants Cam, her beloved husband. Her will to live a normal life gone. That is until Cam's best friend, Jacob knocks on her door. Jacob, was hot, sexy and the only unattached man in Cam's squad. He tells Shay that he gave her enough time to mourn and that it was time for her to get her act together and start living a normal life again.
Shay fought him, wanted him to get out of her house and leave her alone, but he pushed and pushed until Shay started to come around. It wasn't easy at first, so difficult because she loved Cam so much, he had been her whole world. But Jacob in his own way also was just has heartsick as Shay since Jacob too lost someone he loved like a brother, and he was there when it happened.
Eventually, they started to form a friendship. She started to depend on Jacob and then started to develop more than friendship feelings for him, but was it too soon? But, she was so alone and needed the comfort that only Jacob could give her. She felt that he might be feeling the same way; although, he was too much of a gentlemen to act on them and she knew she would have to make the first move. On the night she ventures into his room to maybe take this relationship to the next level, something happens that leave Shay, Jacob and us readers stunned!!!
Can't wait for Fractured Volume 3!!! I am loving this series!!

Holy Hell Alexis!! I don't even know what to say!
This is the second book in the Fractured series. Book one ripped my heart out, tore it into little pieces and stomped all over it. Book two picks up 4 months after book one ends and we see the mess Shay's life has become. I strongly felt her emotions throughout this book. Enter the mysterious Jacob from book one, who promised Cam to look after and take care of Shay. He decides to move into her house until she starts to live again. And her anger is palpable! The longer Jacob is living there, she starts to see him in a different light, seeing that he is hurting as much as she is.
"I guess we are really alike then. I don't let anyone in and you shut everyone out."
And in this book, we understand Jacob much more and you really start to fall in love with him.
"You were serious about the pizza then?"
He smiles at me. "Yup, just this time I would rather you eat it then throw it at my face."
I laugh thinking of that first day. "I couldn't stand you that first day."
"More like the first week." True. "But then my inevitable charm won you over." He gives me a cocky smile while winking at me.
A friendship forms between them and Shay realizes that she is starting to feel more, but feels horribly guilty about it. As she is beginning to heal, she decides to start living her life again. I was very happy to see her turn her life around and begin to live again. And just then, you read the last several sentences in this book and you will literally say OMG, WTF! I said it out loud and I was alone! Book 3 cannot come fast enough for me!
This is a great series which I highly recommend!

Wow, can't wait to see what happens to the "fractured" lives in book 3! Volume Two has a very different feel from Volume One. We go from perfection to devastation as characters must learn to cope with unbearable loss and figure out how to resume their normal lives at the same time. When all hope seems loss, a previously unwelcome influence forces his way in to expedite the return to normalcy, but is it possible to avoid entangling feelings when healing becomes such an intimate process?
Be warned this second volume will take you through the wringer as grief becomes the central theme. Ms. Noelle takes us through a very painful and unfortunately real life potential consequence that military families must live with on a daily basis. Her sensitive handling of the aftermath, as well as interesting view of the related introspection and help necessary to help overcome such tragedies, is touching.
Just when you think you know where this serial is headed though, the ending comes crashing in to completely upset all of the hard earned harmony. I can't wait to see where Ms. Noelle will take us next in the conclusion to this heartfelt story.

Loved this! Shay and Jacob, oh my......... The ending, WOW!!!!! I am at a loss because I am not sure what team I am on now!
